This was with the photos of the Junior Red Cross groups (which I've posted), but since there are no young people I'm guessing it was the regular Red Cross. I knew it was Red Cross because the window blinds in the background are the same as the other photos, and the man on the left has a badge on his pocket that I zoomed in on and it looks like the Red Cross insignia. Pretty good detective work, right? That's my mother in the center. I'm struck by what a pretty dress she has on, or at least what we can see of it is pretty. The photo was posed and was probably a publicity picture. They're looking at pieces of fruit so maybe it was a food drive or food distribution of some kind.
